1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at golocaltransfer.com (the "Website") and the services offered by Go Local G.P. ("GoLocal", "we", "us", or "our"), including private transfers, guided tours, and short-term accommodation rentals.

By accessing our Website, making a booking, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Website or services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking with GoLocal. By placing a booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement and, where applicable, that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of all passengers or guests included in your booking.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your personal data.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect from the date they are published on this page, indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of our Website or services following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend that you review this page periodically.

2. Our Services

GoLocal provides the following services:

  • Private Transfers: Door-to-door private transportation between airports, seaports, hotels, and other locations, available for individuals, families, and groups.
  • Guided Tours: Private day tours and custom excursions, led by local residents with in-depth knowledge of the destination. Our tours are privately led local experiences and are described as such.
  • Short-Term Accommodation Rentals: We offer short-term rental of privately owned accommodation. Bookings made directly with us are governed by these Terms together with any specific information provided at the time of booking.

All services are operated by Go Local G.P., a registered general partnership under Greek law. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any of our services at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

3. Booking & Confirmation

Bookings can be made by contacting us directly via WhatsApp at +30 698 580 0976 or +30 698 223 5449, or through our online booking system at golocaltransfer.com, or by email at info@golocaltransfer.com.

Upon receipt of your booking request, GoLocal will review availability and respond promptly. Your booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from us. Until such confirmation is issued, no binding agreement exists between you and GoLocal.

By completing a booking, you confirm that all information provided — including passenger names, pickup location, drop-off location, date and time of service, and any flight or ferry details — is accurate and complete. GoLocal accepts no liability for any failure or disruption to your service arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the number of passengers and the volume of luggage are within the capacity of the vehicle assigned to your booking. If you are unsure, please contact us before completing your booking.

If you wish to amend your booking after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp at +30 698 580 0976 or +30 698 223 5449, or at info@golocaltransfer.com. Amendments are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Any amendments requested within 5 days of the scheduled service may not be possible.

GoLocal reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted on our Website or communicated directly by GoLocal are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are set per vehicle, not per person. Prices displayed at the time of booking confirmation are guaranteed and will not be subject to change after confirmation has been issued. GoLocal reserves the right to amend prices at any time prior to confirmation.

Payment may be made through the following methods:

  • Online via our secure booking system at the time of reservation
  • Payment link sent directly to you via email or WhatsApp, processed securely through Worldline
  • Card payment via POS terminal upon commencement of the service
  • Cash upon commencement of the service, where agreed at the time of booking

GoLocal does not store, access, or process your card details at any point. All card payments are handled securely by Worldline in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

Where full payment is required at the time of booking, this will be clearly indicated before you complete your reservation. In all other cases, payment is due upon commencement of the service.

GoLocal reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking in the event of non-payment, in which case the cancellation terms set out in Section 5 will apply.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellations by the Customer

You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time by contacting us via WhatsApp at +30 698 580 0976 or +30 698 223 5449, or by email at info@golocaltransfer.com. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • 5 or more days before the scheduled service: Full refund — no cancellation charge applies.
  • 3 to 4 days before the scheduled service: 50% of the total booking value will be charged. The remaining 50% will be refunded.
  • Less than 3 days before the scheduled service: No refund will be issued.

Cancellation is effective from the date and time GoLocal receives your written cancellation request.

5.2 No-Show & Late Arrival

If you fail to appear at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.

GoLocal will wait a maximum of 60 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time for passengers arriving on delayed flights or ferries, provided that flight or ferry details were supplied at the time of booking and the delay is confirmed. In all other cases, a waiting period of 15 minutes applies, after which the booking may be treated as a no-show.

5.3 Cancellations by GoLocal

In the unlikely event that GoLocal is required to cancel a confirmed booking, you will be notified as soon as possible and a full refund will be issued. GoLocal accepts no further liability beyond the refund of the amount paid.

5.4 Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. However, this right does not apply to services tied to a specific date or time period, including transfers and tours.

By confirming a booking with GoLocal, you acknowledge and accept that the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to your reservation.

5.5 Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms for short-term accommodation rentals differ from those applicable to transfers and tours.

Bookings for accommodation made directly through golocaltransfer.com are non-refundable. No refund will be issued in the event of cancellation, regardless of the notice period given.

If you require a flexible cancellation policy, we recommend booking through a third-party platform where such options may be available.

By completing a direct accommodation booking with GoLocal, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

6. Passenger Obligations & Conduct

6.1 Punctuality

You are responsible for ensuring that all passengers are ready at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time. GoLocal cannot be held liable for any missed connections, flights, ferries, or other onward arrangements resulting from a late or failed pickup caused by passengers not being ready at the agreed time and location.

6.2 Passenger Capacity & Luggage

The number of passengers travelling must not exceed the capacity of the vehicle assigned to your booking. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that their luggage is of a reasonable size and quantity for the vehicle booked. GoLocal reserves the right to refuse boarding to additional passengers or to refuse the loading of excessive or oversized luggage where it would compromise the safety or comfort of other passengers.

6.3 Conduct During the Service

All passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner towards GoLocal staff, drivers, and fellow passengers throughout the duration of the service.

GoLocal reserves the right to terminate a service immediately and without refund in the event of behaviour that is deemed dangerous, abusive, or disruptive, including but not limited to:

  • Consumption of illegal substances
  • Physical or verbal aggression towards the driver or other passengers
  • Any behaviour that compromises the safety of the vehicle or its occupants

6.4 Damage to the Vehicle

Passengers are liable for any damage caused to the vehicle as a result of their actions or negligence during the service. GoLocal reserves the right to seek compensation for any such damage, including cleaning costs resulting from passenger illness or spillage.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 General

GoLocal will make every reasonable effort to provide its services as confirmed at the time of booking. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoLocal's liability to you in connection with any booking or service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific booking.

7.2 Service Disruptions

GoLocal shall not be liable for any failure, delay, or disruption to its services arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Traffic conditions, road closures, or roadworks
  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Delays to flights, ferries, or other forms of transport
  • Acts of third parties

In such circumstances, GoLocal will make every reasonable effort to complete the service or offer a suitable alternative.

7.3 Missed Connections

GoLocal accepts no liability for missed flights, ferries, or any other onward travel arrangements resulting from delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, or from inaccurate pickup information provided by the customer.

7.4 Loss or Damage to Luggage & Personal Belongings

GoLocal takes reasonable care in handling passenger luggage. However, GoLocal accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to luggage or personal belongings during the service. Passengers are advised to ensure that their personal belongings are adequately covered by their own travel insurance.

7.5 Exclusion of Indirect Damages

GoLocal shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services or Website, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, or loss of opportunity.

8. Force Majeure

GoLocal shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its services where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event"). Force Majeure Events include but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or acts of God
  • Earthquakes, floods, fires, or other natural phenomena
  • Strikes, labour disputes, or industrial action
  • War, armed conflict, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
  • Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
  • Road closures or infrastructure failures outside our control

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, GoLocal will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will make every reasonable effort to offer a rescheduled service at no additional cost. Where rescheduling is not possible or acceptable to you, a full refund of any amount paid will be issued.

Beyond the above, GoLocal accepts no further liability for any losses, costs, or inconvenience arising as a result of a Force Majeure Event, including but not limited to missed flights, accommodation costs, or any other consequential expenses incurred by you.

9. Intellectual Property

All content published on golocaltransfer.com, including but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, and the overall design and layout of the Website, is the exclusive property of Go Local G.P. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The GoLocal name, logo, and brand identity — including the compass motif and associated visual elements — are proprietary to Go Local G.P. and may not be used, reproduced, or imitated without our prior written consent.

No part of this Website or its content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of Go Local G.P. Any unauthorised use of our content may give rise to a claim for damages.

10.1 General

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and applicable European Union law.

11.2 Jurisdiction

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services, you agree that the courts of Lesvos, Greece shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle such dispute.

11.3 Informal Resolution
