Kalloni

Where Flamingos Meet Flavours

06.

Plomari

The King of Ouzo on Lesvos

Plomari is the undisputed ouzo capital of the world — and that's not marketing. But the south coast harbour town has more to offer than a glass and a distillery tour. This is one of the most characterful towns on Lesvos, and one of the least visited.

Agiassos traditional stone village, central Lesvos

10.

Agiassos

The Village That Refused to Change

Agiassos has barely changed in centuries. A 9th-century monastery, a covered bazaar still used by locals, and kafeneion culture you thought only existed in old photographs. If you visit one mountain village on Lesvos, make it this one.
